Sleeping up to 4 people
Converted over five years and opened in 2019, Swallows Rest is a modern holiday cottage, but we’ve kept as much of the barn character as is possible. Sleeping up to 4 people in 1 large double room and 1 twin bedded room, we can also provide a travel cot for the youngest member of your family.
Kitchen
Step into a modern kitchen with slate floor tiles and all the modern facilities, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. We pride ourselves in thinking that you’ll have everything that you need to cook up gourmet dinners or just beans on toast! The kitchen is light and spacious with a large centrally located dining table and chairs, so it’s ideal for chatting and catching up with your nearest and dearest.
From the kitchen, you’ll have plenty of space in the open plan lounge to relax in comfort, watch your favourite TV programme, binge on a boxset via the Smart TV or just chill with a good book or listening to some music.
Upstairs
Upstairs, there is a double and twin bedroom, both with exposed beams. Beautifully decorated in muted, relaxing tones they have high ceilings, giving you lots of space and light, with blackout blinds that make sure you’ll stay in the land of nod until you’re ready to take on the day.
The bathroom has an electric shower with air boost, wash hand basin and WC. We provide towels for you, but would ask you provide your own beach towels for those sunny days where to head to the coast.
